Mother Charmane Paul, Jurisdictional Supervisor

Mother Charmane Paul was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. Even as a child, she recalls her heart and mind often yearning for the presence of God.

At the age of 19, she accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior- a commitment that has shaped her life ever since. She was called and chosen by God to minister to His people, and in 1980, she received her Missionary License at Little Mission Holiness Church under the pastoral leadership of the late Emmitt Stallworth.

In 1987, Mother Paul and her husband, Brother Allen Paul, relocated to Fort Myers, Florida, where they soon joined Jerusalem Church of God in Christ under the pastoral leadership of Elder Kinnus Paul. She later received her Evangelist License from the Church of God in Christ, Inc., under the leadership of the late Bishop Chandler D. Owens and National Supervisor Mother Willie Mae Rivers.

Following her heart’s desire, Mother Paul developed a deep concern and love for youth. God anointed her to teach and mentor within the Youth Department of Jerusalem Church. She served faithfully as a Youth Sunday School Teacher, Youth Bible Study Teacher, and Youth Praise and Drama Team Coordinator. Additionally, she served as Outreach Ministry Coordinator, organizing impactful events that allowed the Youth Department to minister to nursing home residents, distribute food to those in need, and host Christmas events. Evangelist Paul also ministered to juvenile delinquents at the Lee County Juvenile Detention Center.

Her unwavering faithfulness to the Lord and to her church was recognized through various leadership appointments. In 2010, she was appointed President of the Youth Department at Jerusalem Church of God in Christ, where she served until 2014. From 2014 to 2021, Mother Paul led the Department of Women at Jerusalem COGIC under the leadership of Pastor Michael A. Barnes, Sr.

Mother Paul also served as Dean of Workshops for the Bartow District Churches of God in Christ, under the leadership of District Missionary Emerita Mother Wilma P. Holloway.

On April 22, 2018, Superintendent Archie House appointed her as Chairman of the Bartow District Department of Women. On July 7, 2020, she was appointed Chairman of the Department of Women’s Convention and Programs Steering Committee by Jurisdictional Supervisor Mother JoAnn Golatt-Hill. Later that year, on September 17, 2020, she was elevated to the role of District Missionary for the Bartow District.

On February 28, 2025, at 10 PM, she received the distinguished honor of being appointed as the Jurisdictional Supervisor Designate by Bishop Michael E. Hill. Sr., Interim Jurisdictional Prelate for Florida Eastern Jurisdiction, and on November 8th, 2025, at Holy Convocation in Memphis, TN, Mother Paul officially received her cap.

Mother Paul and her husband, Brother Allen Paul, are the proud parents of four children, thirteen grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren.

We give God glory for this faithful, anointed, and chosen Woman of God who has wholeheartedly answered- and continues to answer-the call of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

To God be the glory for the life, leadership, and obedience of Mother Charmane Paul.
